Meet the Artist

Taylor Plasz is a contemporary mixed-media artist who loves experimenting and discovering what happens when different materials come together. For Taylor, the magic of mixed media is that there are no rules. She loves combining different materials, watching them interact, and seeing how colors blend, textures emerge, and unexpected details come to life. Specializing in resin, acrylic paints, pigments, and abstraction, Taylor creates one-of-a-kind artworks inspired by the natural world.

Her journey into mixed media began during the pandemic, when she discovered resin and was immediately captivated by its messy, unpredictable nature. She fell in love with the freedom of working with a medium that doesn't always follow a plan. What started as an experiment quickly became an exciting new creative outlet, opening the door to endless possibilities for combining materials, exploring texture, and pushing the boundaries of her artistic style.

Originally from Maine and California, Taylor now calls Colorado home, where she continues to develop her artistic practice and connect with the local creative community. She loves sharing her work at local art fairs, connecting with fellow art lovers, and creating custom commissions that bring a client's vision to life. Whether she's creating a statement piece for a home or experimenting with a new technique in her studio, Taylor approaches each project with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a love for the creative process.

Through Art by Plasz, Taylor hopes to create more than just something beautiful to look at. She wants her work to catch your eye, spark your curiosity, and bring a unique touch of nature, texture, and personality into your space.
